Esthetic and Functional Treatment Planning for Wear Patients
About this Course
In this course, Dr. Frank Spear outlines how Facially Generated Treatment Planning (FGTP) can be used to make wear cases more manageable. Dr. Rouse will discuss the importance of airway when treatment planning these complex patients and how it will affect the way that you use the FGTP process. Applying these principles, you will learn how to use diagnostic data obtained through photographs and mounted models to determine ideal tooth position and design occlusion for these patients.
Learning objectives for this course:
- Integrate esthetics and function in treatment planning patients with severe wear
- Understand the importance of including airway in the patient evaluation
- Utilize the AEFSB treatment planning process using examples of severe wear patients
- Learn how to transfer the esthetic information and create the desired occlusion using mounted models
