The American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) hosted its 62nd Annual Meeting from May 18 to 22, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, under the theme “Celebrating Neuroradiologists.” The event provided attendees with opportunities to learn about the latest best practices in neuroradiology through invited lectures, research presentations, and exhibits. The meeting also featured dedicated specialty programming from affiliated societies such as ASFNR, ASHNR, ASPNR, ASSR, and SNIS. Social activities included a welcome reception, a pool party, and the President’s Appreciation Gala.
The American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) is a professional membership society comprising nearly 6,000 physicians specializing in the field of neuroradiology. The ASNR was founded on April 19, 1962 in New York and incorporated in the State of New York on February 1, 1965.
Neuroradiology is the clinical sub-specialty concerned with the diagnostic radiology of diseases of the central nervous system, brain, head and neck, through the use of x-ray, MRI, CT and angiography. It is practiced in hospital settings, academic/educational institutions, and private practice.
