This encyclopedic reference book presents the diagnosis and treatment of arteriovenous malformations (AVM) and fistulas (AVF) in a case-based, educative and practical manner. The book is structured by AVM and AVF location, ensuring ease of use. Different treatment strategies are described, highlighting their respective pros and cons in particular circumstances. The diagnosis and treatment of the huge variety of vascular lesions is presented on the basis of individual cases, structured by the anatomic localization and the nature of the arteriovenous connection. The diagnostic process comprises a correlation of clinical signs and symptoms with imaging findings from computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and digital subtraction angiography.
