Preservation Rhinoplasty: Closed and Open Approach and Revision Rhinoplasty 2024

In this video series, Dr. Abdulkadir Göksel performs five preservation rhinoplasty surgeries, including both closed and open approaches.

Moreover, he performs a challenging case of revision rhinoplasty with alar retraction that requires rib and auricular cartilage harvesting.

Endoscopic views and drawings of surgical plans assist the viewer in understanding the techniques, in addition to Dr. Göksel’s clear narration of the procedures, including demonstrations of the harvest of rib, ear, and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) for grafting.

Each case provides a full presentation, from a preoperative assessment showing the patient’s presenting deformity and a simulated corrected view to detailed demonstrations of step-by-step technique and the placement of splints, drains, and postoperative dressings. Case 6: Revision Rhinoplasty: Severe alar retraction repair, rib harvesting and oblique split method, rectus abdominis facia harvesting, composite ear graft for the alar rim, radix augmentation, nasal tip reconstruction, oblique septal splinting and extension graft
