POCUS Essentials
POCUS Essentials is designed to educate healthcare providers in the essential principles of ultrasound exams commonly performed in Emergency, Family, and Internal Medicine. Point-of-care ultrasound is a powerful tool that can enhance patient care by visualizing anatomy associated with a clinical question, identifying the need for other imaging, and effectively triaging patients.
The POCUS Essentials course is comprised of several comprehensive training modules that guide learners through the hands-on scanning techniques and protocols required to accurately visualize and identify normal from pathological anatomy on ultrasound. Training modules within the POCUS Essentials bundle include: Ultrasound Basics, Liver, Abdominal Great Vessels, Abdominal Trauma/FAST, Spleen, Biliary, Renal, Lung, Male Pelvis, DVT, and Cardiac.
