The chief respect in which this book differs from theprevious edition is that Part 1, concerned with GeneralDispensing, has been re-written entirely. On 3rd March 1969 it became illegal in Great Britain to use for dispensing any system of weights and measures except the Metric System and the consequent major amendments to remove the Imperial System from the text provided the stimulus for a complete revision of Part 1 to increase its relevance to the practice of pharmacy today
