The working group on IPCC released its action report 5-phase I which indicates that almost all countries and continents, viz. Asia, Australia, North America, Central and South America, polar regions, small islands and oceans are subjected to vulnerability and extreme weather events leading to widespread damage to infrastructure, livelihood and settlements. Increased heat-related mortality, drought and food shortage may cause malnutrition. The book is a small guidance in such conditions.
