Hello! We want to invite you to join us for the ACOP 2025 Spring Conference at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, VA, April 3-6, 2025. We are busy putting the finishing touches on a wonderful program and I hope you can join us! We will hear from a range of speakers on a variety of pediatric subjects.
The conference will kick off Thursday afternoon with a developmental approach to OMT. We will also have a wonderful lecture on otitis media and sinus drainage. On Friday, we will feature presentations on PANDAS and another neurologic topic before moving on to two interesting and timely topics: pediatric military medicine and emergency preparedness for our population. The afternoon will showcase gastroenterology, nephrology, and genetics lectures.
Saturday will begin with psychology and social determinants of health. Next, we are incredibly pleased and excited to announce our James M. Watson Lecturer this year is AOA President, Theresa Hubka, DO. She will be speaking about “How to Navigate the Changing Tides of Healthcare Advocacy During Challenging Times.” Following President Hubka’s lecture, we will have our moderated poster session. We will conclude our day with the member business lunch and awards.
You will have Saturday afternoon for your leisure. Hopefully, you will be able to slip into Washington, DC and see a museum, take in the sights in Alexandria, or relax at the hotel and catch up with friends and colleagues.
We close out our conference on Sunday morning with two sets of great lectures. Pediatric anesthesia, pain management, and palliative care will start our morning. Then we will have two excellent lectures on pediatric obesity.
We look forward to seeing you all in Virginia in April. If we are lucky, we will see some peak cherry blossoms. But regardless we will have amazing lectures from dynamic speakers!
The American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP) Spring Conference 2025 is primarily designed for:
Osteopathic pediatricians and physicians specializing in pediatric care
Medical educators and faculty involved in pediatric training
Residents and medical students pursuing pediatrics
Healthcare professionals interested in the latest developments in pediatric medicine
The conference offers continuing medical education (CME) opportunities and features a hybrid format—both in-person in Alexandria, Virginia, and virtual attendance options. It’s a great platform for networking, learning from leading experts, and staying current with pediatric best practices
