The aim of this book is to provide basic and clinical investigators who are interested in AML with information that reaches from new concepts regarding leukemia pathogenesis to current and prospective advances in molecular therapeutics. In addition, insights into selected novel strategies are provided. These strategies include interrpution of specific signal transduction pathways, modulation of gene expression, attempts to reinstate differentiation, and immunomodulation.
