A Journey Through Diagnostically Challenging Areas in Gynecologic Pathology Updated with New Cases 2019 (CME VIDEOS)
Course Description
The World Health Organization (WHO) has incorporated new, significant developments in various areas of diagnostic gynecologic pathology into its 2014 WHO Classification of Tumours of Female Reproductive Organs. This publication serves as a systemic educational tool for practicing pathologists to adopt new disease classifications and related diagnostic criteria, a guide to clinical management of patients and a disease framework for further investigations. This course parallels and reflects WHO updates and encompasses a broad review of diagnostically challenging areas in gynecologic pathology.

Practicing academic and community pathologists, and pathologists-in-training
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, learners will be able to:
- Recognize new diagnostic criteria and disease classifications in gynecological pathology
- Apply morphologic and immuno-histochemical criteria for differential diagnoses
- Recognize uncommon/unusual gynecologic disease entities and their diagnostic criteria
- Learn the clinical implication when applying new diagnostic knowledge in gynecological pathology

The United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology designates this enduring material for a maximum of 11.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
USCAP is approved by the American Board of Pathology (ABPath) to offer Self-Assessment credits (SAMs) and Lifelong Learning (Part II) credit for the purpose of meeting the ABPath requirements for Continuing Certification (CC). Registrants must take and pass the post-test in order to claim SAMs credit.
Physicians can earn a maximum of 11.75 SAM/Part II credit hours.
