3D MR Imaging of Joints with Arthroscopy Correlations
3D MR imaging is increasingly becoming common for musculoskeletal diseases due to the improved quality of imaging and speed of acquisition-related to advancements, such as sparse k-space sampling and compressed sense. However, barriers exist in terms of using 3D MRI for various joints in routine radiology practices due to factors, such as lack of technology or information about recent advancements, different tissue resolutions, and paucity of knowledge among practicing radiologists about its value in rendering improved diagnoses over conventional 2D MRI with arthroscopy correlations as the reference standard. This course focuses on the latest advances in 3D MRI for joints and their practical applications in routine practice.
