Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) are both hazardous gases which are transported only in liquid form under certain pressure and/or at reduced temperatures. Though potentially hazardous these gases can safely be transported by ships holding special types of containers which can be handled in jetty system specially constructed at seaports.
