The second portion of the course focuses on the communication between patients and the treatment of the teeth, including the effective explanation of treatment requirements to patients, the treatment of any periodontal issues prior to significant work, the utilization of dental assistants, and the compilation of informed consent for all procedures. The course also involves managing the dentist’s and patient’s anxiety, time management, and transitioning from single crown procedures to full arch treatments.
