This course will address the increased demand for prostate MRI, as prostate cancer diagnosis continues to rise in North American men. Multi-parametric sequences utilizing T2-weighted imaging, diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), and dynamic contrast enhancement (DCE) have led to increased utilization of prostate MRI for detection, localization, staging, risk stratification, active surveillance, recurrence assessment, and guidance for targeted-biopsy and focal therapy. Radiologists will gain up-to-date information on the latest standards for prostate examination and mpMRI.
