The Journal of Neurosurgery Publishing Group (JNSPG) is the scholarly journals publication arm of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance the practice of neurosurgery worldwide. Since 1944, the Journal of Neurosurgery has been recognized worldwide for its authoritative articles on clinical and laboratory research, and innovative surgical techniques and instruments, as well as its rigorous focus on the highest-quality presentation of scientific and medical advances.

The JNSPG journals primarily publish original works in neurosurgery but also include studies in clinical neurophysiology, organic neurology, ophthalmology, radiology, pathology, and molecular biology. Our 2020 Impact Factors include Journal of Neurosurgery with 5.115, Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine with 3.602, Journal of Neurosurgery: Pediatrics with 2.375, and Neurosurgical Focus with 4.047.

This publication also releases issues on a periodic basis, including Volume 38: Issue 1 (Jan 2022), Volume 38: Issue 2 (Feb 2022), Volume 38: Issue 3 (Mar 2022), Volume 38: Issue 4 (Apr 2022), and Volume 38: Issue 5 (May 2022).
