The International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology is a prestigious publication dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge related to the prevention, treatment, and care of otorhinolaryngological disorders in infants and children. It serves as a vital platform for the exchange of clinical and scientific information encompassing a wide range of conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, and related structures.
The journal welcomes contributions from both clinical and basic science domains within the field of pediatric otorhinolaryngology. It encompasses various sub-specialties such as medical and surgical otology, bronchoesophagology, laryngology, rhinology, diseases of the head and neck, and disorders of communication. However, it is important to note that submissions should focus specifically on patients aged 0-18 years to align with the journal’s pediatric-oriented scope. Manuscripts involving patients outside of this age range may not be considered for publication.
While the journal typically does not publish case reports unless they present exceptional and novel findings within a unique or significant area of pediatric otolaryngology, authors are encouraged to consider submitting such reports to Otolaryngology Case Reports. Letters to the Editor providing “expert opinions” on published articles are generally not accepted, unless they offer novel data that merits independent consideration.
Published in collaboration with esteemed organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Otolaryngology and Bronchoesophagology, the Asociación Argentina de Otorrinolaringología y Fonoaudiología Pediátrica, the Association Française d’Otorhinolaryngologie Pédiatrique, and several others, the journal benefits from a diverse and global perspective in its quest for advancing pediatric otorhinolaryngology knowledge.
The International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology stands as a significant resource for professionals in the field, providing a platform to share innovative research, clinical experiences, and advancements in the management of pediatric otorhinolaryngological disorders.
