Gynecologic Pathology: Evolving Concepts, Classics, Caveats 2020 (CME VIDEOS)
Course Description
This session will discuss a selected but diverse group of gynecologic tract cases, highlighting some commonly encountered diagnostic problems and concepts. An emphasis will be placed on diagnostic approaches to tumor typing, grading, staging, or other pathological assessments that have evolved in recent years. For each entity, there will be a discussion of any recent changes to diagnostic criteria, the clinicopathologic basis for any such changes, potentially helpful ancillary diagnostic modalities, and how to avoid diagnostic pitfalls.

Practicing academic and community pathologists, and pathologists-in-training
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, learners will be able to:
– Develop a systematic approach to the diagnosis of gynecologic tract diseases, and the utility and limitations of ancillary diagnostic modalities
– Summarize diagnostic concepts in gynecologic pathology that have recently evolved
