This essential contributes to the understanding of working from home by taking into account home office-related changes in the work-related personality of employees. The basis for this is the Bochum inventory for job-related personality description (BIP), which is internationally recognized as a scientifically sound procedure. An empirical study shows a differential, individual change in the characteristics “mental constitution” and “control experience”. The essential presents this connection in a way that is easy to understand. There are also recommendations for further dealing with these changes, both for the home office and for the “back-to-the-office”.
