This book is focused on effective planning and designing of health care facility to control the spread of airborne/droplet infection. Guidance is given on space planning, designing, patient inflow and outflow including practical & functional planning as per the standards and usability of clinical and non clinical services. Flow diagrams, schematics, layouts and drawings are provided for easy understanding for the readers.•Guidance is also given on designing of hospitals with natural ventilation as use of mechanical ventilation [heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)] may not be feasible due to financial constraint in developing countries.
