Kielhofner’s Conceptual Foundations of Occupational Therapy Practice, 5th Edition (PDF)

by Jarrett Wolske, Gail Fisher

Be prepared to use a multi-model approach to occupational therapy practice!

New editors and their diverse team of contributors respectfully advance the intellectual heritage and legacy of Dr. Gary Kielhofner to support occupational therapy practice today.

Highlighting the historical development of the conceptual knowledge base of occupational therapy, the editors then introduce what they have termed occupation-based models, relationship-based models, frames of reference, and domains of related knowledge. Their concluding section ties these concepts together by reasoning through and applying a multi-model approach to practice across settings and populations.
