Liposomes and· related developments and approaches have emerged as the mostpromising carrier stratagems for site specific optimized drug therapeutics. Targeteddrug delivery whi~h is a programmed kinetic behaviour, tissue distribution andpharmacodynamic activity of drug substances, seems to be an achievable goal withthe advent of liposomes as a versatile, petite and bio-compatible drug carrier system.
