Overview
The USC Diabetes Symposium returns for its 4th year, continuing to provide exciting updates in the care of people with diabetes, as well as the accompanying complications and comorbidities. This hybrid program, offered in person and over virtual platform, presents updates in the field of diabetes and obesity management from experts in a variety of fields. Highlighted are areas of advancement including updates to guideline-based medical therapy, management of peripheral neuropathy, strategies for reducing of cardiovascular risk, managing diabetes in the inpatient setting and in the geriatric population, updates in diabetes technology and discussion of cutting-edge therapies such as new bariatric procedures and weekly insulin.
